This past weekend we took Asher to Weavers Orchard in Morgantown, PA.
The weather was very cool and definitely fall weather!
We really enjoyed it! Asher does not like to sit still so Weavers Orchard was great because it is all outdoors and he could do pretty much all of the activities that they had. All we had to do was follow Asher around.
We went on a "family fun day." Asher was free, but there was a fee for Adam and I. Can I just say how ridiculous I think it is that there are fees for adults. I mean I guess I understand why but it's not like we are actually doing the activities. I guess in a sense we are because we are helping our little ones. But still, always fees!
The price actually wasn't too bad. Children 2 & under are free. Adults: $4.50 and $6 for the Hayride.
We have taken Asher to now 3 orchards and I absolutely love the orchards. Not only are they beautiful but when you have a super active little toddler that just loves to be on the move, they can go wherever their little hearts desire at the orchards.
Some of the activities included were a petting zoo, slide, corn bins, playground, hay-bail area with tunnels, a little maze, and ball launch (which Asher was able to help Adam with and absolutely loved it). The hay ride consisted of a ride to the pumpkin patch where he was able to yet again run free and pick a pumpkin, and a tour through the whole orchard. They also have apple picking here as well.
