Today while Asher was napping I had some time to make a delicious meal for dinner AND a sweet treat! Which Asher approves!
I was looking through my cabinets of all my ingredients I had and decided to just start mixing a bunch together! This is a spin of Muddy Buddies, but Halloween style! Ingredients: 9 cups Chex cereal 1 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups powdered sugar 1/2 cup mini unwrapped Reese's peanut butter cups 1/2 cup mini Reese's pieces 1/2 cup candy corn/ pumpkin mixture Directions: In a large bowl place Chex cereal and set aside. Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in the microwave for 1 minute. Take out and stir. If not smooth put back in microwave for 15 more seconds. Remove from microwave and add vanilla. Pour chocolalte mixture over Chex cereal and stir until all cereal pieces are fully coated with mixture. Place powdered sugar in a 1 gallon bag and add the Chex mixture. Shake until all pieces are coated. Next add chex in a big container to store them in. Add all of the remaining ingredients. Once you put the lid on give the container a few good shakes! Enjoy!

Hands down, summer is my favorite season! We are a big beach goers, and love to be out on our boat. But I do also really enjoy fall! Now, having a child is an better reason to go to do all of the fall activities!
I am always looking for great places to take Asher. Here is a list I have have come up with of places I want to take Asher and places that we have been to do fall activities! All are toddler friendly and little ones under 2 are free! 1. Paulus Orchard, Dillsburg PA They have a great Orchard for picking Apples. There is a kids area as well for kiddos to run around and do different activities. 2. Oregon Dairy, Lititz PA We took Asher here last year for Pumpkin Picking! They have a corn maze open from Sept 15th- Oct 29th. The whole month of October is Pumpkin Picking. There are also other little activities for the kids to do here as well. 3. The Country Barn, Lancaster PA The Country Barn does seasonal activities year round. They also have a petting zoo. Sept 9th to Oct 31st they have pumpkin picking as well as other little activities on site. 4. Weaver's Orchard, Morgantown PA Sept 30th they are having "Fall Family Day." Some of the features are food, hayrides, pick-your-own fruit, farm animals and other kid activities! 5. Fall Festival, Elizabethtown PA Elizabethtown fair grounds has a fall festival every year. This year it is Oct 28th from 10a-2p. Tons of children's activities. 6. Dutch Wonderland, Lancaster PA From Oct 14th-Oct 29th, "Happy Hauntings" takes place at Dutch Wonderland. Kiddos can dress up and go around to different rides to collect candy. Everything is themed for fall/ halloween. Safe and non scary! Hershey Park does a similar event but Dutch Wonderland is cheaper for the adults. 7. Cherry Crest Farms, Ronks PA We actually took Asher here in the summer time and he had a blast! There was so much for him to do. The pricing was reasonable for adults. They also have fall themed activities such as corn maze, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, wagon rides, and 20+ other kids activities! I hope this was helpful to all you momma's out there wanting to do some fun fall activities with your little ones! If anyone has any suggestions of place that I have not listed please comment below! Happy fall festivities =] My Child is such a picky eater and the squeezable pouches at the store can be quite pricey. Since Asher was a baby I have always made him his food. So why not keep going as he grows! Sometimes Asher will skip a whole meal a day. I get reassurance that he is recieving the nutrients he needs by making these pouches and knowing that he will at least have 2 to 3 of these a day. Here are some of the most recent yogurt pouches I have made him, that he absoluetly loves. Mango-Raspberry-Kale-Spinach- Carrot: 1 Cup Yogurt 1 Mango (skinned) Handful of Raspberries Handful of kale/spinach mixture ( At Giant I buy Nature's Promise organic premixed kale/spinach) 1 Carrot ( chopped) Add all ingredients to blender, blend until smooth Mixed Berry- kale- spinach: 1 Cup yogurt Handful of blueberries Handful of strawberries Handful of kale/ spinach mixture Add all ingredients to blender, blend until smooth Pear- Banana- kale- spinach- lemon 2 pears( cored, skinned and cook on the stove until tender) 1 banana 1 Cup yogurt Handful of kale/ spinach mixture Half a lemon (juice) Add all ingredients to blender, blend until smooth. The pouches are called Kiinde Twist. They are very afforable! What I love most about these pouches are the tops that you can get to attach to the pouches. They offer a spoon top or a sippy top. These pouches are great for freezing! I usually take a morning and make 3-4 flavors, pour them into pouches, and then freeze the majority and move to fridge as needed!
